Our Position

The Bromyard History Society's Shop and Community Hub is a remarkable place that brings together history enthusiasts, tourists, and the local community. Here, visitors can explore, honor, and safeguard Bromyard's rich heritage. Our curated collection of genuine historical items, along with interactive experiences, allows everyone to immerse themselves in the past. HOBS serves as the focal point of Bromyard's historical narrative, creating a sense of unity and belonging for all who visit.

Co-Working Spaces


Located at the rear of HOBS, there is a peaceful area that provides a warm invitation for visitors to pause and enjoy a cup of coffee, while also providing an opportunity to connect with like-minded individuals. This space offers a meeting table, Wi-Fi access, and the convenience of the History Centre database for research purposes. Additionally, there is a dedicated recording area where we can attentively listen to your personal accounts of the past, including memorable experiences and the fascinating individuals you have encountered along your journey. The preservation and transmission of history hold great significance, ensuring that valuable knowledge is safeguarded and carried forward for future generations to appreciate.

A NEW shop that will be a hub of historical knowledge as well as a social gathering point is to open in Bromyard.

This years Exhibition is now open in the Records & History Centre, 5 Sherford Street, Bromyard. Opened by Bromyard & District Local History Society Patron Lady Susanna McFarlane at 11am, 10th June 2023. Please call in and see us. The History Centre Opening Times: Thursday 10.00AM – 1.00PM & 2.00PM – 4.30PM Friday 10.00AM – 1.00PM & 2.00PM – 4.30PM Saturday 10.00AM – 12.30PM The history centre is now fully open, however the research room is still but by appointment only.
